John The Baptist M.B. Church is comprised of many different ministries with one goal.
To tell the world about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We are The Church Where Everybody is Somebody, so if you would like to serve below is a partial list of the many ministries of the church. Please contact either one of the ministry directors listed below or your deacon.
Missionary Ministry--The Missionary Ministry witnesses for Gods' Simple Plan of Salvation to a lost world by demonstrating CHRIST in us' through various works of charity, comfort and encouragement to persons outside the church who are in need, regardless of their moral/spiritual situation. The Mission serves as the hands and feet of the Body Of CHRIST to those not currently a part of GODS' Family. Praying always that the unconverted may marvel at the sincerity of Christian Love and be attracted to the Author of it.

Music Ministry--There are 5 areas that are a part of this ministry: Youth Choir, Male Choir, Senior Choir, Mass Choir, and Inspirational Choir. The music ministry assists the church in fulfilling the scripture that states that we are to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Those in the music ministry share whatever musical ability they have to GLORIFY GOD.

Youth Ministry--The Youth Ministry is designed to equip youth disciples for ministry so that they may fulfill Christ's Great Commission. The Youth Ministry addresses their emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The ministry incorporates a variety of activities and exciting events to help young people build positive relationships, develop support systems, and become all that they can.

Christian Education--The Christian Education Ministry is a growing area of our church which seeks to combat biblical ignorance through in-depth study of God's word. The goal of the Christian Education Ministry is to provide an educational outlet to the church ministries by planning, conducting, and evaluating a comprehensive Christian Education Program that will train leaders to work in God's ministries. Those early in their journey of defining their faith , as well as those Seasoned Christian, can find their place under this ministry. There are 4 areas that are a part of this ministry: Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Mid-Week Bible Study, and New Member Training.

Kitchen/Hospitality-- The Kitchen/Hospitality Ministry seeks to serve as the welcoming arm of the church. They set and prepares the menu when the church provides meals before or after worship service, events, and contacts the church membership to assist in providing an appropriate meal for guests and members. They are also responsible for maintaining the kitchen appearance, cleanliness, and making recommendations for equipment repair or replacement at church. They are also responsible for greeting guests as they are served and dine as well as making our members and guest feel comfortable during services and functions.

Transportation Ministry--The Transportation Ministry duties include making sure that individuals who need a way to church arrive on time to services and are returned home after service concludes. The members of this ministry must have a Valid Drivers License and know how to operate the vehicle and check vitals on vehicle( oil, gas tires,etc.)

Usher Board-- This ministry duties include making sure that everyone who arrives for worship receives a program, and that they are seated properly. They are also responsible for making sure that everyone respects the sanctity of the worship service by not walking or entering the sanctuary during inappropriate times. They also assist with someone who is uncomfortable during services(i.e. providing fans, adjusting the temp., assisting parents with crying children, picking up the sanctuary after services etc.). They are also responsible for making recommendations to the church when pews, hymnals, or bibles need repair or replacement. THE USHER BOARD LOVINGLY GREET EACH MEMBER OR VISITOR WHO ENTER THE CHURCH.

Facilities Management-- This ministry is responsible for making sure the internal and external appearance of our church is kept in pristine condition. This ministry is responsible for making our church an attractive place to look at year round. This ministry works tirelessly to keep our building clean and safe. They routinely make sure the building and facilities are clean, sanitary, and in working condition.

Media Ministry-- The Media Ministry oversees the audio, video, external/internal communication and website functions for the church. This ministry is responsible for controlling the sound equipment , setting levels and maintaining microphones and other equipment. Under this ministry the following 3 sections are found: AUDIO, COMMUNICATION, and TECHNOLOGY & WEBSITE. The Media Ministry is charged with making recommendations for equipment repair and replacement. This ministry evaluates as the church grows, the need to duplicate audio and video recordings of services and events for those who cannot attend service at the church. The COMMUNICATION section of this ministry assists the church in coordinating all public announcements(printed and multimedia), newsletters, the church bulletin board and other opportunities to publicly communicate church events to the public. The TECHNOLOGY section assists the church in maintaining the computer systems and peripherals, including workstations, the network, access, printers, and other computer related equipment. Additionally, they are charged with uploading the website, making changes, creating and deleting church e-mail accounts and communicating with the service provider to ensure consistent quality in service.
